Joga Bonita Juggling

EFC Joga Bonita Juggling Club

Joga Bonita:   Brazilian term meaning, “The Beautiful Game”

Purpose:         To encourage and drive our players to become technically efficient through the Art  of Juggling.

Juggling:         Controlling the Ball by using your following parts of the body; feet, thighs, chest, shoulders, and head.  Without letting the ball, contact the field of play, exercising extreme control of the ball with creativity in numerous ways.

Improves:      Balance, Striking, Aerial Control, Ball Control, Reaction, Concentration, Creativity and Confidence

Structure:       The levels of the Joga Bonita Club will reflect the levels of the ISoccer Program.

Recording Score

  •  The player’s juggles will be counted by an EFC Club Coach/ Trainer personally.

  •  The counter cannot be a family member or teammate.

  •  Players need to schedule time with Coach/ Trainer. Also can be done after ISoccer w/ Adam Greene.

  •  If the player was able to reach a goal; the player’s name, age, team name/coach, picture, and official juggle count will be sent to Adam Greene.

For each level of the club reached, the player will receive;

  •  Name and picture put on a webpage on the club website celebrating the achievement.

  •  A T-Shirt of the Color Level reached so the player can celebrate his accomplishment with the rest of the Club. (150 juggles = Green T-Shirt) Given out at the end of each season correlated to what level the player reached. (End of the season trophy.)

  • Public Recognition placed at the pavilion, and posted on the Griffin Soccer Website
