The Board of Directors of Griffin Youth Soccer Association is excited to announce the appointment of Sandip Patel to the position of Director of Coaching.
Patel, who most recently served as coach of the U9 boys' academy team, brings more than 12 years of coaching experience from high school soccer and youth club soccer at all age levels for both boys and girls. Patel holds a USSF National “D” License as well as the National Diploma and National Goalkeeping Diploma from NSCAA.
Patel has served as coach for the Upson Lee Girls JV team, as well as coaching club soccer with AFC lightning and the Peachtree City Lazers. Patel has spent the last 4 years with Griffin Excel coaching teams at all age levels from Academy to Select.
Our current DOC, Adam Greene, is taking on a new position at Upson Lee High School as the Head Coach for the Varsity boys. We congratulate Adam on his new job and wish him all the luck with his new endeavors!
